Database to use

Associated Files

  • If your website contains many pages with the same layout.
  • If your website contains many common elements.
  • If your website is to have many hyperlinks between the pages.
  • If your website will be updated regularly with data added to existing pages and new pages added.
  • If the information will be available in multiple formats such as PDF, text and HTML
Then setting up a database to generate the HTML code may be worth the set up time.
 
The software needed
A simple word processor with Search and Replace and color text that exports color to the scrapbook.
A database that can generate calculated text blocks and supports AppleScript.
A Webpage design program.
A search and replace utility that works with multiple filters and multiple files.
